The platform will connect viewers to India's cultural and emotional heritage.
It also includes news, documentaries and regional content, promoting inclusivity and diversity.
It will serve a diverse audience with content in over 12 languages.
The upcoming US Premier League cricket tournament will also be broadcast live on it.

Prasar Bharati is the national public broadcaster of India.
It is a statutory autonomous body.
It was established on 23 November 1997 under the Prasar Bharati Act.
Prasar Bharati achieves the objectives of public service broadcasting through All India Radio and Doordarshan.
Prasar Bharati's components are: All India Radio, Doordarshan, DD News, All India Radio News, and Free Dish.
Prasar Bharati's objective is to provide information, education, and entertainment to the remote areas of the country.
Prasar Bharati's secretariat is responsible for interacting with the Union Government's Ministry of Information and Broadcasting on matters related to All India Radio and Doordarshan.
