The 19th CII India-Africa Business Conclave is being held in New Delhi from 20-22 August

CII India-Africa Business Conclave 

• More than 1100 international delegates from 65 countries, including 47 African countries, are participating in this summit.
• The theme of this summit is Shared Future
• It will focus on areas such as trade, investment, infrastructure, health care and technology.
• The objective of this summit is to promote Africa's development and enhance India-Africa partnership in global value chain integration

Confederation of Indian Industry (CII)

• It is a non-governmental, non-profit, industry-based organization.
• It was founded in the year 1895.
• It is headquartered in New Delhi.
• It works with the government on policy issues
• It works to create an enabling environment for India's growth by partnering with industry, government and civil society through advisory and consultative processes.
• It has over 9,000 members from private and public sectors, including micro, small and medium enterprises and multinational companies
• It serves as a reference point for Indian industry and the international business community
