Union Minister for Food Processing Industries Shri Chirag Paswan inaugurated the 8th edition of Indusfood 2025 in Greater Noida.
Key Points:
- Indusfood is Asia's leading annual food and beverage trade exhibition.
- It is organised by the Trade Promotion Council of India in collaboration with the Department of Commerce, Government of India.
- It will be attended by 2,300 exhibitors from over 30 countries.
- Objectives of Indusfood 2025:
- To make India a major hub for the global food and beverage industry
- To realize the concept of ‘farm-to-fork’
- To establish strong synergies between farmers, technology providers, manufacturers and global markets
- To promote innovation and business opportunities in the agriculture and food sector
- Indusfood 2025 will host the prestigious Asia Presidents Forum in India for the first time in partnership with the Indian Culinary Association (IFCA).
- This landmark event will bring together over 30 presidents of chef associations from across Asia.
- Two major summits will be held during the show focusing on the food production and agritechnology sectors.
Other events of the Indian Trade Promotion Council:
- Indusfood Manufacturing (4th Edition):
- It will focus on food processing, packaging, ingredients and hospitality technology.
- Indusfood Agritech (1st Edition):
- It will focus on agriculture technology, fisheries, dairy, and poultry farming technology.
- Both these events are scheduled on January 9-11, 2025 at Yashobhoomi Dwarka, New Delhi.
- The main objective of these events is to promote seamless synergy in the ‘farm-to-fork’ value chain.
