DRDO's laboratory, Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences (INMAS) is organizing the International Radiobiology Conference.
Professor Ajay Kumar Sood, Principal Scientific Advisor to the Government of India inaugurated it as the chief guest.
The event will be held from 27 February 2025 to 1 March 2025.
The theme of the event is: “Biological effects of space radiation, heavy ions and human space missions - systems and biomedical response measures”
The conference serves as a unique and important platform for the exchange of knowledge among radiobiologists, physicists, engineers and medical researchers.
It aims to understand the biological effects of space radiation and develop biomedical solutions for the protection of astronauts.
