  • The "Raja Mansingh Tomar Samman" for the year 2023 was awarded to Sanand Nyas, an institution of Indore.
  • The National Tansen Award was given to Pt. Swapan Choudhary of Kolkata, a well-known tabla player of Indian classical music.
  • Under this award, an honorarium of Rs 5 lakh, a citation and a shawl-shriphal were given.
  • This award has been instituted by the Government of Madhya Pradesh in honor of Music Emperor Tansen.
  • This award is the highest national honor in the field of Indian classical music.
