PM Modi will visit Kuwait, this will be the first visit of an Indian PM in 43 years.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Kuwait on a two-day visit at the invitation of the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
During the visit, the Prime Minister will hold discussions with the Kuwaiti leadership.
The Prime Minister will also interact with the Indian community in Kuwait.
This will be the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister to Kuwait in 43 years.
The Prime Minister will also attend the opening ceremony of the 26th Arabian Gulf Cup as the special guest of the Emir of Kuwait.
India and Kuwait Relations:-
India and Kuwait have centuries-old ties characterised by historical ties, strong economic exchanges and vibrant cultural engagement.
The two countries enjoy excellent political relations.
India is one of Kuwait's top trading partners with bilateral trade between the two countries expected to exceed $10 billion during 2023-24.
Kuwait also remains a reliable energy partner for India.
