  • Recently Punjab won the title of Hockey India Junior Men National Championship 2024.
  • In the final match, Punjab defeated Uttar Pradesh 4-3 in the penalty shootout.
  • The final match was held at the Olympian Surjit Singh Hockey Stadium in Jalandhar.
  • This was the 14th edition of the Hockey India Junior Men National Championship.
  • A total of 29 teams participated in it.
  • It was organized by Hockey India in Jalandhar, Punjab.

Hockey India:

  • It is the governing body for hockey in India.
  • It was formed in May 2009 by merging the Indian Hockey Federation (IHF) and the Indian Women's Hockey Federation (IWHF).
  • Headquarters- New Delhi.
