Stuart Young becomes the new Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago
Why in news?
Stuart Young will be sworn in as the new Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago today during an official ceremony held at the Presidential Palace in St. Annes.
He is currently serving as the Minister of Energy and Energy Industries.
He will replace outgoing Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley.

Geographical location:
Island country in the southeastern West Indies, consisting of two main islands, Trinidad and Tobago.
It is located northeast of Venezuela and northwest of Guyana.
Trinidad (1,850 square miles) is the larger island, while Tobago (115 square miles) is smaller.
