JPSC Prelims Exam Pattern 2024   

  1. The Prelims is qualifying in nature, it is used to select candidates for mains exam.  
  2. This paper will consist of 100 objective type questions, each of 2 marks, drawn from the subjects listed below. Candidates will have to answer all the questions. 
  3. The examination shall comprise two compulsory papers of 200 marks each. 
  4. The questions will be of objective type (Multiple Choice Questions). 
  5. The duration of the Jharkhand JPSC Prelims Exam for each paper is 2 hours (120 minutes) 
  6. No negative marking

JPSC Mains Exam Pattern 2024 

  1. The JPSC Mains examination schedule will have Six exams. 
  2. For JPSC Mains Paper 1, every candidate will have to secure a minimum of 30 marks and this paper will only be qualifying in nature.
  3. Marks scored in JPSC Mains Paper 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 will be counted in the final selection. 
  4. The questions asked in the Mains exam will be descriptive in nature.
  5. The duration for each paper is 3 hours.

JPSC Interview Test 

JPSC interview is the last stage in the examination. Only those candidates who will qualify MPPSC mains will be eligible to appear for the interview. The Interview carries 175 marks. The objective of the interview is to check the personal suitability of the candidate for a career in the state services by a board of competent and unbiased observers. In the personality test, apart from their academic study, candidates must be aware of the affairs happening both within and outside their state.
