Asian King Vulture Conservation and Breeding Centre

The world's first Asian King Vulture Conservation and Breeding Centre will be established in Maharajganj, Uttar Pradesh.
This centre has been named Jatayu Conservation and Breeding Centre.
Its objective is to ensure the good health of these vultures.
The Asian King Vulture is also known as the red-headed vulture.

- Their numbers have decreased due to the drug diclofenac.
