The Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights has launched a whatsapp chatbot named 'Bal Mitra' to enable two-way communication between people and the Child Rights Panel.
Its objective is to provide authentic information on various matters related to children and their rights and to ensure confidentiality of the matters reported through it.
Its salient features include complaint registration, information retrieval, complaint status tracking.
The chat bot will also guide people, especially parents, on issues related to school admission and education of their children.
