'Broadcast Seva Portal' has been launched to provide single point facility for registration and license to the stakeholders. This portal is working in the direction of 'Minimum Government, Maximum Governance'.
This will reduce the time taken for applications and will help in tracking the progress of applications. This portal will provide ease of doing business by reducing human interface. It is also proposed to be linked with the National Single Window System soon.
The portal will provide services to all stakeholders including private satellite based TV channels, teleport operators, community and private radio channels as part of Digital India's comprehensive efforts.
The portal will facilitate the stakeholders with 360-degree digital solution for seeking permission, applying for registration, tracking of applications, calculation of fees and payment execution.
