Dhala Crater

  • located in Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh’s Dhala structure is Asia’s largest and most impact crater.
  • About 2500-1700 million years ago, formed by the collision of a meteorite called Urelite.
  • Three meteorite impact craters are found In India. Other two are located Ramgarh in Rajasthan and Lonar in Maharashtra.
