The 'Doha Declaration' was adopted during the Fifth United Nations Conference on Least Developed Countries (LDC5) held in Qatar.
It is a ten-year (2022-2031) action plan that aims to bring the world's 46 least developed countries back on track to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.
This action plan mainly focuses on areas like poverty alleviation, climate change and international partnership.
Its full implementation will help address the negative socio-economic effects of the COVID-19 pandemic in these Least Developed Countries.
