Environmental Performance Index-2024

This index was released by the Centre for Environmental Law and Policy of Yale University, USA.
India ranked 176th among 180 countries in this index with 27.6 points.
In this, the Baltic country Estonia got the first place.
- It has reduced its GHG emissions by 59% compared to the year 1990.
This index reflects the country's efforts for environmental sustainability.
