The second phase of Goal Programme (Going Online as Leaders-2.0) has been launched on June 28, 2022 with an aim to digitally upskill tribal youth. It is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs and META.
It aims to digitally empower tribal youth by promoting entrepreneurship through the concept of mentor and mentee using digital technology. The programme is fully funded by Meta (Facebook India).
Its first phase was started in May 2020 as a pilot project. In this phase trainees were provided with 40+ hours of training across three course pillars: Communication & Life Skills; Enabling Digital Presence, and Leadership & Entrepreneurship.
