Indigenous Air Quality Monitoring System

  • Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology launched the Indigenous Air Quality Monitoring System.
  • It has been developed by C-DAC in collaboration with Texmin and JM Envirolab Pvt Ltd.
  • It has been developed under the National Programme on Electronics and ICT Applications in Agriculture and Environment.
  • It can monitor the following elements-
    • PM1.0, PM2.5, PM10, SO2, NO2, O3, CO, CO2, Temperature and Humidity etc.
  • It will be helpful in providing various approvals related to environment.
  • This system works with a mobile application called "Air-Pravah".
