Jaga Mission

Jaga Mission is the world's largest land and slum upgradation program run by the Government of Odisha. It aims to empower the lives of slum dwellers.
In the last five years1,75,000 families have been provided land patta security under this program.
Under this mission, 707 slums have been converted into fully livable housing with 100% of the households in Odisha's 2,724 slums provided with piped water connections.
Odisha has been awarded the United Nations World Habitat Award for the year 2023 for this mission.
