Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs has launched 'National Urban Digital Mission' in collaboration with Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. It aims to develop a shared digital infrastructure for urban India based on the three pillars of People, Process and Platform (3-P) .
This mission will institutionalize a citizen-centric and ecosystem-driven approach for administration and service delivery in 2022 cities of the country by year 2022 and in all cities and towns of the country by 2024.
Under this, the principles of technology based on the strategy and approach of the National Urban Innovation Stack launched in urban India in the year 2019 by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs has been followed.
