‘The National Integrated Database portal on Arrested Narco- offenders’ (NIDAAN) is a first of its kind database developed by the Narcotics Control Bureau. It aims to enhance the capacity of all law enforcement agencies working against drug-related crimes.
This portal uses the data received from the inter-operable Criminal Justice System and the cloud-based application e-Prisons. It is planned to be integrated with the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network system in future.
NIDAAN is a one-stop solution for all narcotics offenders' related data and will help investigative agencies as an effective tool to connect the dots while probing narcotics cases. The portal is part of the Narcotics Coordination Mechanism (NCORD) portal.
