Ol Chiki is a script of Santhali language. It is also known as Ol Semet, Ol Siki, Ol or Santhali alphabet.
It was developed in the year 1925 by Raghunath Murmu as a way of writing Santhali language which was first displayed in the year 1939 at the Mayurbhanj State Exhibition.
Santhali language is mainly spoken in Jharkhand and West Bengal, north-west Bangladesh, eastern Nepal and Bhutan.
The Prime Minister used Ol Chiki script of Santhali language to pay homage to the immortal tribal revolutionaries on Hul Day.
