  • Singer Mohammad Rafi's birth centenary will be celebrated in the year 2024.
  • He was born on December 24, 1924 in village Kotla Sultan Singh (Amritsar).
  • On this occasion ‘Rafi Minar’ will be installed in his village.
  • The height of the minar will be 100 feet, which will be made of steel.
  • It will be established by The World of Mohammad Rafi Welfare Foundation and Shri Shanmukhanand Lalit Kala and Sangeet Sabha.
