SAGAR SAMRIDDHI is an online dredging monitoring system aimed at giving impetus to the ‘Waste to Wealth’ campaign of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways.
This system will coordinate the input reports of the ports, which will increase transparency and efficiency along with reduction in operational cost. It will bring about an improvement over the old system of ‘Draft and Loading Monitor’ (DLM).
It was developed by the National Technology Center for Ports, Waterways and Coasts (NTCPWC), the technical wing of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways.
The system has been adopted by Cochin Port and Mumbai Port, while it is at trial stage in New Mangalore Port and Deendayal Port.
