Functions- Provides valuable features like checking registered connections of citizens, blocking stolen or lost mobile phones, verifying genuineness of device using IMEI (International Mobile).
It uses two modules-
Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR)
Telecom Analytics for Fraud Management and Consumer Protection (TAFCOP)
