Sangai Festival is an annual cultural festival celebrated in Manipur. The theme of the festival for this year is 'festival of oneness'.
It is named after Sangai, a rare species of deer found here, which is the state animal of Manipur.
The festival showcases the contribution of the state to the natural environment along with art and culture, handlooms, handicrafts, fine arts, local sports, food, music and adventure sports.
Recently it was inaugurated by Union Tourism and Culture Minister G Kishan Reddy at Sangai Ethnic Park located in Moirang Khunau.
