The 'SARAS 3 Radio Telescope' has been invented and builtindigenously by the astronomers of 'Raman Research Institute' (RRI). It is the world's first telescope to reach the essential micro-receptacles of the universe and collect the smallest necessary information.
It is a high-risk and high-profit pilot effort. With this, extremely faint radio wave signals of the time of 'Cosmic Dawn' can be detected. 'Cosmic Dawn' is a cosmological model (the origin of the universe), which is related to the hypothesis of the formation of stars and galaxies for the first time in the early stages of the universe.
This telescope was first deployed in a village in Anantapur district in Andhra Pradesh. Later It was deployed in Trans-Himalayan Ladakh, from where it received important microscopic data.
Recently, Indian researchers have conclusively refuted the recent claim of discovering a radio wave signal from 'Cosmic Dawn' using the SARAS 3 radio telescope.
