World Sustainable Development Summit

• The World Sustainable Development Summit is the flagship annual event of ‘The Energy and Resources Institute’ (TERI).

• Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated this three-day conference on February 16, 2022. The theme of this year's summit is 'Towards a Resilient Planet: Ensuring a Sustainable and Egalitarian Future'

• Under this conference, important topics like climate change, sustainable production, energy transition, global common resources and their security were discussed. During this the Act4Earth Manifesto and Act4Earth Strategy Paper were also released.

• It was attended by Heads of the Republics of Dominican and Guyana, Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations, Heads of various Inter-Governmental Organizations and Delegates from more than 120 countries.
